The Greene County Historical Society will host a St. Patrick’s Day open house Saturday, March 16, from 9 am to noon at the museum, 219 E. Lincoln Way in Jefferson.
The public is invited to enjoy hot cider, coffee and cookies, and there will be drawings for gift cards.
Janice Harbaugh of Jefferson will play Irish tunes on the museum’s grand piano, and singing along will be encouraged. Several local authors, including Gina Coon Harrington and Susan Smith, both of Jefferson, will be present for informal chats about writing and publishing.
